The Department of Street and Park Operations consists of twenty full-time employees who are responsible for a variety of tasks including:
- In-House street reconstruction of existing City streets
- Maintenance of existing City streets
- Maintenance of City signage
- Maintenance Department vehicles and equipment
- Snow Removal
- Storm debris removal
- Maintenance and repair of City facilities
- Set-up and break-down for special events sponsored by the City
- Vehicle maintenance for other departments
- Maintenance of City park facility
- Maintenance of Rights-of-Way throughout out the City
- Trimming trees
- Responding to a variety of citizen concern
