Department of Street and Park Operations

The Department of Street and Park Operations consists of twenty full-time employees who are responsible for a variety of tasks including:

  • In-House street reconstruction of existing City streets
  • Maintenance of existing City streets 
  • Maintenance of City signage
  • Maintenance Department vehicles and equipment
  • Snow Removal 
  • Storm debris removal
  • Maintenance and repair of City facilities
  • Set-up and break-down for special events sponsored by the City
  • Vehicle maintenance for other departments
  • Maintenance of City park facility
  • Maintenance of Rights-of-Way throughout out the City 
  • Trimming trees
  • Responding to a variety of citizen concern
