PAC Art Camp
PAC Summer Youth Art Camp: The City of Overland Community Center has partnered together with Presentation Art Center to offer two weeks of summer art classes. Kids between the ages of 6 and 14, or Grades 1st thru 8th can enjoy making various art projects throughout the one week of art camp.
Grades 1 - 4 will be making jumping frogs, fluttering butterflies, fun Llamas & Rainsticks, learning Suminagashi (Japanese Marbeling) & Wax Resist with Watercolors! Enjoy making posters with a Mystery Bag of art supplies too.
Grades 5 - 8 will be making a Watercolor Mosaic, painting an abstract animal, learning Suminagashi, creating a Memory Book, and learning how to create a Zentangle Haired Person. Enjoy making posters with a Mystery Bag of art supplies while working on a collaborative wall hanging.
All campers will take home various art projects and will receive their very own art apron too.
Campers should wear comfortable clothing and bring a bottle of water. *Due to additional camp forms required for participants safety, registration will only be taken onsite at the Overland Community Center. Registration deadline is one week prior to the start date of each camp session. Min. 10 / Max. 25 Cost is $7.00 for each camper per week. Camp will be held various week depending on the campers age at the Overland Community Center. Grades 1 - 4 will be June 26 - 30 2023 from 1 pm - 3 pm, and Grades 5 - 8 will be June 12 - 16, 2023 from 1 pm - 3 pm.
