Code of Conduct

The Overland Community Center is intended for recreational and leisure enjoyment by of all those who participate.  The Community Center Staff will take every precaution and action to ensure that the safety and general well-being of any and all persons and facilities is protected.
  
Food and beverages are allowed only in the snack room and in classrooms when appropriate.  No food or beverages are allowed in the weight room, racquetball courts, gymnasium, sauna, nor on the walking track.
  
Smoking is prohibited throughout the entire building. Alcohol is prohibited in the building except under rental conditions that do not fall on a Sunday and in those instances, only in the areas which the group has reserved. 
  
Appropriate attire is required at all times. Men are asked to keep their shirts on even during recreational participation and shoes are required at all times for all persons. Those using the sauna are requested to wear at least flip flops and a towel to and from these facilities. Fighting, foul or offensive language, the use of drugs or alcohol, or unnecessary horseplay is not allowed in the Community Center.  

Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult and this adult is to be with the child at all times.  Exceptions to this rule would apply when a child is participating in a Community Center sponsored activity where supervision is being provided.
